Hi Steve, 

Matt asked me to send you an update on my pup.  Sorry it has taken so long. I’ve been very pleased with Trigger.  He has been easy to train and picks up on skills quickly.  He is full of energy and loves to play with kids.  I had him to South Dakota pheasant hunting twice last fall and I have to say he surprised me.  Being only 8 months old, I wasn’t expecting much from him.  I just wanted to put him on a lot of birds to help develop his nose and tracking ability.  It didn’t take long before he was hunting like a veteran.  His stamina also impressed me.  We put on quite a few miles each day and he showed no signs of slowing down.  If I wouldn’t have rested him he would have run all day.

I am looking forward to hunting with him next fall.  Hopefully you and Matt can join us again.
